The Rose Room, so named for its rose-covered wallpaper, is located on the second floor, overlooking the gardens and gazebo. The antique queen-size canopy bed is accompanied by cozy chairs, and the room has a private bath. The floral motif is enhanced by the antique hooked rug and botanical prints. Originally, this room was part of Josiah Sampson's bedchamber, as it is ideally situated to receive the perfect balance of sunlight and shade. |
